Children

Arts Units for the Classroom.

I contract with schools in the Treasure Valley to create fun arts units that correspond with their class curriculum.

  • Topics have included:
    • water access
    • economic systems
    • cultural songs
    • Idaho
    • how the government works
    • the process of metamorphosis
    • social skills
    • bullying
  • Units can be scheduled as single workshops, weekly workshops and 2x week intensives.

Music Theater:

I have directed more than 40 children’s music theater productions.

  • Groups ranging in size from 6-25 kids.
  • Published scripts or writing our own scripts.
  • Can individualize to fit the needs of the group.

Make-A-Movie:

I have directed and edited more than 50 movie-making camps. They can be found on youtube in my channel: Leta Harris Neustaedter

Chill Skillz:

I created this program in 2010 to simultaneously teach acting and social skills. Kids perform sketch comedies with wacky characters in different scenarios exploring topics such as emotional intelligence, communication skills, bullying, strength’s perspective and stress management. Many videos from past programs are available on youtube. This program can be modified for classroom or clinical learning as a fun way to teach social skills.
